Operational Situation in the Republic, September 5 to 8

248 crimes were recorded, 6 of which had been previously committed.
In particular: 29 cases of drug detection,
27 cases of infliction of bodily injuries,
26 cases of fraud,
23 cases of physical impact,
18 cases of driving by persons deprived of the right to drive, with suspended driving rights, or without a driving license,
16 cases of mental assault,
13 cases of theft of personal property,
9 cases of document forgery,
6 cases of hooliganism,
5 cases each of seizure of firearms and ammunition, and detection of cold weapons,
4 cases each of drug trafficking and unlawful appropriation of property lost by the owner,
3 cases each of violation of labor protection rules and violation of the inviolability of dwelling,
2 cases each of residential theft and car theft.
Other crimes detected included: misappropriation of entrusted property, non-performance of professional duties by medical personnel, drug smuggling, stalking, arbitrariness, cultivation or growing of narcotic plants, circulation of counterfeit alcoholic beverages or other products for sale, theft of documents, seals, stamps, or vehicle license plates, extortion, and cases of destruction, damage, or concealment of property.
Among previously committed crimes, the following were disclosed:
2 cases each of infliction of bodily injuries and residential burglary,
1 case each of theft of personal property and fraud.
10 wanted persons were located, 5 voluntarily surrendered.
1 case of voluntary surrender of firearms and ammunition was registered.
RTA Statistics
Over the past three days, 42 road traffic accidents were registered, 3 persons died and 54 persons sustaining various degrees of bodily injuries.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
