The delegation of experts of Washington office of the Bureau of combating narcotic drugs and  inter-agency cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the U.S. Department of State in The police of the Republic of Armenia

On May 20 a group of experts of Washington office of the Bureau of combating narcotic drugs and inter-agency cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the U.S. Department of State arrived in Yerevan for the purpose of assessing the results of the assistance rendered to the RA police within the framework of the mentioned program.
On May 22 RA police deputy chief, Police Major General Artur Osikyan received the members of the delegation of the Bureau of combating narcotic drugs and inter-agency cooperation between law enforcement agencies.
The works carried out in the RA police with the assistance of the U.S. embassy in Armenia were discussed and measures stipulated by the reform program of the police activities in 2012-2013, the anticipated results and prospects of further cooperation between the police of the RA and U.S. embassy in Armenia were represented during the meeting.
Several meetings were conducted within the scope of the visit. Particularly, a meeting with major adviser of the RA police chief Grigor Bediryan and meetings in the RA police headquarters, General departments of combating organized crime and criminal intelligence, Educational complex, Information center and Armavir provincial department took place.
