The Head of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs paid a working visit to Shirak Province, during which an operational meeting was held

On June 17, the Head of the Police, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aram Ghazaryan paid a working visit to Shirak Province.
At the Kumayri Division of the Community Police Aram Ghazaryan held an operational meeting which was attended by Deputy Heads of Police Vardan Vardanyan and Arthur Khudinyan, the leadership of the Shirak province's Criminal Police, territorial subdivisions of the Community Police and the Patrol Service serving the region.
Aram Ghazaryan presented the principled approaches established by the Minister of Internal Affairs regarding the Police Service.
Based on those principles, the Head of the Police issued directives concerning daily service activities, placing particular emphasis on discipline and the enhancement of professional knowledge.
The Head of Police has ordered to intensify the efforts in detecting corruption and economic crimes, illegal drug trafficking and arms trafficking, countering organized crime, as well as uncovering crimes of any severity.
Aram Ghazaryan demanded that the personnel act strictly within the framework of the law, explicitly excluding any manifestations of violence.
The Head of Police also specifically addressed the deepening of cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.

The meeting included a presentation of the 2025 performance statistics of the Criminal and Community Police and Patrol Service in Shirak Province, an analysis of existing challenges, and an outline of upcoming tasks.
At the end of the visit Aram Ghazaryan, the heads of other law enforcement agencies in Shirak Province and regional authorities laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to police officers who were killed while defending the homeland’s borders and fulfilling their official duties.
