On June 13, Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan and his delegation, during their official visit to Lithuania, were introduced to the operational scope, advanced technical equipment, and specialized vehicles of the Public Security Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. In 2007, the Internal Service units of the Republic of Lithuania underwent a reorganization and were transformed into the Public Security Service, which operates under the Ministry of the Interior. The primary responsibilities of this service encompass ensuring public order, conducting the secure transportation of apprehended and convicted individuals, and safeguarding strategic state installations.
