Functions to monitor compliance with the rules of anti-pandemic safety carried out since October 23

24.10.2020 19:00 Herald of Police

Even after the outbreak of hostilities on the borders of our country, the police, despite the expansion of functions and overload, continued operations against the spread of the pandemic.
At the same time, given the psychological state of society, the police, whenever possible, refrained from bringing the offenders to administrative responsibility, relying on the high self-awareness of society, content with warnings and admonitions.
Unfortunately, it turns out that some of our citizens have a misconception about civic duty, public self-control, openly ignore compliance with safety rules, which has led to a sharp increase in the number of cases of coronavirus.
Today it is not only a matter of public health, but also of national security, as it poses serious problems for already overcrowded medical facilities.
This situation is unacceptable.
Since October 23, the Police have been carrying out an enhanced regime of service in this direction.
All functions to monitor compliance with the rules of anti-pandemic safety will be performed in full.
All violators of safety rules, without exception, will be brought to administrative responsibility in the form of fines.
We call on citizens to understand the need to take such actions, to cooperate with the Police in order to contribute to our victory on this front as well.
