RA Police Chief receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia / VIDEO /

On Tuesday, August 27, RA Police Chief Valery Osipyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad.
Welcoming the guest, Valeriy Osipyan attached importance to the friendly relations between the two neighboring states, thanks to which there is an effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Armenia and Iran.
The Chief of Police noted that there is a prospect of a closer cooperation between the Armenian Police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iran.
Seyyed Kazem Sajjad thanked for the warm welcome and noted that he is completing his mission in Armenia. He thanked the Armenian Police for their close cooperation with the Embassy of Iran. The Ambassador stated that no matter where he will be he promises to assist the newly appointed Ambassador in implementing measures aimed at further strengthening of the Armenian-Iranian friendship.
The Ambassador noted that the number of Iranian tourists leaving for Armenia has increased, simultaneously the number of Armenian tourists leaving for Iran has also increased, too.
Valery Osipyan thanked for the cooperation and wished Seyyed Kazem Sajjad good luck in all that he does.
During the meeting the two sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
