According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 50 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from June 16 June 17, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 8 cases of personal theft and causing bodily harm, 7 cases of fraud, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement and bribery of voters, 2 cases of counterfeiting, illegal felling of trees, abuse of office, forgery of documents, coercion to participate in election or referendum campaigns, to refuse to participate in election or referendum campaigns, or obstruction of participation in election or referendum campaigns, 1 case of kidnapping, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, cybercrime, bribery, receiving a bribe from candidates, parties (party blocs) by a voter, referendum campaign initiatives or giving a bribe to voters by candidates, parties (party blocs) during a referendum campaign or obstructing the free expression of the will of voters, detection of cold weapons, battery and death threats.
9 wanted persons have been detained, 8 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes, 1 case causing bodily injuries and a running-down accident have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 23 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 28 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
