According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 72 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 31 to September 1, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular,18 cases of personal theft, 10 cases of fraud, 7 cases of drug detection, 6 cases of detection of weapons and ammunition, 5 cases of causing bodily harm, 3 cases of abuse of office, illegal traffic in narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without the purpose of illegal traffic, illegal traffic in narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances with the purpose of sale or manufacturing, theft of state or public property, 2 cases of hooliganism, battery and threats of murder, 1 case of robbery, car theft, tax evasion, cybercrime, bribery, bribery of voters, receiving a bribe, violation of the prohibition on charity during elections or obstruction of the free expression of the will of the voter.
7 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft of state or public property, 1 case of personal theft, causing bodily injuries and car theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 14 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 25 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
