The delegation of the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Polish Police visits Armenian Police (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, February 10 Deputy Head of the RA Police, Police Major General Vardan Yeghiazaryan received the delegation of the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Polish Police, led by Director Mr. Waldemar Krawczyk.
Greeting the guests, Mr. Yeghiazaryan attached a great importance to the traditional partnership between the Armenian Police and the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, which has so far proved fruitful and effective. Mr. Yeghiazaryan particularly highlighted the “Police cooperation program” launched by the European Commission  in the framework of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership initiative, which is designed to support the cooperation between police services of the Europian Union and the Eastern partnership countries to effectively fight the ongoing cross-border crime and strengthen the rule of law. The introduction stage of the three-year program is implemented with the support of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The meeting agenda also included  other issues of mutual interest, relating to the forensic sphere, including the improvement of DNA analysis.
The parties reached an agreement on the successful implementation of continued cooperation in the mentioned sphere.
