Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan Receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia

On March 2, Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan received the delegation led by Bolat Imanbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to RA. Among the attendees of the meeting were Arpine Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Armen Mkrtchyan, Chief of Staff, and Armen Sargsyan, Head of Traffic Police Registration and Examination Division. Welcoming the guests, Vahe Ghazaryan highly appreciated the cooperation of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries not only in a bilateral format, but also within the framework of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states. Ghazaryan expressed readiness to continue close cooperation for the benefit of joint fight against transnational crime, effective protection of human and civil rights.
Bolat Imanbaev thanked for the warm reception and congratulated Vahe Ghazaryan on his appointment to the position of Minister of Internal Affairs. The ambassador highly appreciated the reforms implemented in the ministry, expressing his readiness to support. The guest also positively referred to the activities of the newly created patrol service. Imanbayev elaborated on the reforms implemented in Kazakhstan, which refer to various spheres of social and political life.
Both sides presented the experience of Armenia and Kazakhstan in the field of road traffic safety. In that context, the exchange of experience in terms of increasing the level of traffic safety was emphasized.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to the registration and deregistration of vehicles in Armenia by the citizens of Kazakhstan were discussed. Vahe Ghazaryan gave exact instructions in that direction, emphasizing that they are his top priority.
At the meeting, Ghazaryan and Imanbayev discussed various areas of cooperation that are of mutual interest.
