Police detain Sochi-Yerevan passenger wanted in Greece

As a result of operational-search measures carried out by the criminal investigators of the “Zvartnots” aiport Police Line division, on May 19 at 11.50 pm Sochi-Yerevan flight passenger 45-year-old Gagik A. was detained. The man had been 7 wanted by the Interpol of the Republic of Greece on charges of transporting foreign citizens to Greece, illegal possession of weapons, illegal possession of drugs for personal use since April 7.
Custody has been chosen as a measure of restraint.
The Interpol National Security Bureau in Armenia and the Prosecutor have been notified of Gagik A.’s detention.
