U.S. wanted citizen detained at “Zvartnots” airport

As a result of the explanatory work carried out by employees of the Criminal Investigation unit of the Central Division of the Republic of Armenia, on Saturday, March 7, at 8.56 pm Paris –Yerevan passenger US citizen Aram S. was detained at “Zvartnots” airport. The man had been wanted on charges under Articles 215 (Smuggling) and 268 Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (Illegal turnover of narcotic drugs or psychotropic materials without the purpose of sale) since October 2, 2008.
No measure of restraint has been selected.
