Wanted foreigner detected at Passport office
As a result of measures carried out by the officers of the criminal investigation unit of Nor-Nork division and Nor-Nork passport division of the Passport and Visa Department of the RA Police, on Thursday, September 2, 32-year-old Harun R. was detected in the passport division and from there was taken to Nor-Nork division of the RA Police. The foreigner had been wanted on charges under part 2 of Article 258 of the RA Criminal Code (Hooliganism) since January 9, 2020.
Recognizance not to leave has been selected as a measure of restraint.
Harun R. has been handed over to the preliminary investigation body.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
