STATEMENT: Police urge to refrain from organizing and attending public events

27.05.2020 11:28 Statements and announcements

It is accepted in our republic to organize pilgrimages, trips, festivities, gatherings and other public events on non-working days.
In order to avoid the possible spread of the pandemic, the Police urge to refrain from organizing and attending public events.
In order to prevent violations of the established restrictions, police squads will serve in areas adjacent to the pilgrimage sites, in particular at the Chapel of St. Hovhannes (St. John) in the village of Metz Parni (Ghaltakhchi), at Aghavnavank, Goshavank, Hairavank, Mairavank, Tsakhkevank, Geghardavank, Amberd and other sacred places and in the vicinity of sites: in Shrestasar, in the Shikahogh state reserve, near the Sharach waterfall, Khosrov forest waterfalls and other places.
Dear citizens! For safety reasons, we urge you to organize your leisure time without violating the decision of the Commandant of the Republic of Armenia.
