Ara Fidanyan receives the newly appointed Head of the Security Service of the US Embassy in Armenia

On September 4, Deputy Head of Police Ara Fidanyan received the newly appointed Head of the Security Service of the US Embassy in Armenia Craig Goldstein.
Congratulating Mr. Goldstein on his appointment, Ara Fidanyan expressed hope that the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides would deepen, including new areas of police activity.
He especially emphasized the embassy's support for police reforms aimed at modernizing the Armenian police and improving the quality of services.
Thanking for the warm reception, Craig Goldstein, in his turn, congratulated Ara Fidanyan on his appointment, emphasizing that the cooperation of the Police with the US Embassy in Armenia has always been active, practical and effective.
During the meeting, they talked about the organization of closer cooperation between the security staff of the embassy and the relevant subdivisions of the police. A number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
