RA Police is 103 years old: events held in the administrative complex of the Police

April 16 is the day of the formation of the Police. On the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the establishment of the Police, members of the Collegium and high-ranking officers of the Police, led by Head of Police Vahe Ghazaryan, laid wreaths and flowers at the monuments to the First Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Aram Manukyan and the Soldier of Law and Order.
On the same day, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Police. The Prime Minister, the Head of Police and high-ranking officers laid flowers at the “Wall of Remembrance” in honor of the fallen policemen who died in the name of the Fatherland, observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to their memory.
On April 16, an expanded meeting of the board of the RA Police was held.
First, the meeting attendees observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the police officers fallen during the 44-day war with, after which the Head of Police Vahe Ghazaryan made an opening address. He congratulated police officers, police veterans and police families on their professional holiday. Vahe Ghazaryan thanked the families of the fallen policemen. The Head of Police thanked the police officers for their conscientious service in the difficult task of maintaining law and order and legality, thanked the officers who, from the first days of the war, were involved in performing combat missions and fully fulfilled their duty towards the Motherland.
In his speech, Vahe Ghazaryan touched upon the reforms underway in the Police, presented the process of forming Patrol service and establishing Center of operational management.
Further, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a congratulatory speech on the occasion of the Police Day.
At an expanded meeting of the RA Police Board, the results of the operational activities of the Police services and territorial bodies for the first quarter of 2021 were summed up.
