Crime news report for the period from 17 to 20 July

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 131 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from July 17 to July 20, 5 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 33 cases of causing bodily harm, 32 cases of theft of personal property, 9 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement and detecting narcotic drugs, 6 cases of fraud, 5 cases of illegal felling of trees, 4 cases of threat of murder and hooliganism, 3 cases of failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel if it caused the patient’s death, 2 cases of battery, robbery, abuse of office, deliberate damage to property, illegal cultivation of prohibited plants containing narcotic drugs, 1 case of burglary, seizure of weapons and ammunition, illegal deprivation of liberty, seizure of lands which are state and municipal property, as well as the failure to take measures to prevent arbitrary construction of buildings and structures, murder, arbitrariness, kidnapping, theft of state and public property, theft of vehicle and committing lecherous acts.
5 missing persons have been located, 2 wanted persons have been detected, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police.
6 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases of theft of personal property and 1 case of infliction of bodily injuries and a road traffic accident have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 43 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 70 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
