According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 75 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from February 17 to February 18, 8 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 18 cases of personal theft, 11 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 7 cases of fraud, 4 cases of drug detection, 3 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, domestic violence, drug smuggling and abuse of authority, 2 cases of threat and illegal crossing of the State border, 1 case of murder, robbery, extortion, tax evasion, cybercrime, illegal tree felling, carrying cold weapon, failure to comply with the requirements of the decision on immediate intervention and child trafficking under the pretext of guardianship.
2 wanted persons have been found, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police, 9 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 5 cases of personal theft and 3 cases of burglary have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 6 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 6 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
