According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 72 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 6 to August 7, 8 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 15 cases of causing bodily injuries, 9 cases of theft of personal property, cultivation of forbidden plants containing narcotic drugs, 5 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of fraud, 3 cases of abuse of office, 2 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 1 case of robbery, squandering or embezzlement, willful destruction of property, tax evasion, hooliganism, illegal logging, poaching, official forgery or official negligence, battery and threats, distribution of pornographic materials, preventing a parent or other close relative from visiting the child.
2 missing persons have been located, 3 wanted persons have been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of road traffic accident and theft of personal property and 1 case of causing bodily injuries, intentional damage to property, destruction or damage of monuments of history and culture and robbery have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 17 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 20 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
