Damage to the State in the amount of 934 million 90 thousand AMD: another disclosure by Police

Based on the operational information received by the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes of the General Department of Criminal Police, factual information was received that in 2010 the head of the State Property Management Department under the Republic of Armenia Government, other competent officials out of personal interest in the alienation of the "Yerevan Loading and Unloading Section" CJSC to another company, "State Inventory and Appraisal Agency" under their jurisdiction was instructed to the to assess the movable and immovable property of the abovementioned company, within the framework of which the competent officials of the agency, within the framework of which the competent officials of the agency, proceeding from group interests, also abusing their official powers without visiting the property of "Yerevan loading and unloading section" CJSC in Yerevan, Gyumri, Artashat, Vanadzor and Armavir, without actually conducting a study, based only on the initial data provided by the company, false testimony by the deputy head of the agency, made false information about the depreciation and value of the property. Then, they put their signatures on the report, prepared in one day and containing false information about the market value of the property, as well as on other final acts, which were also approved on April 21, 2010 by the same deputy head of the agency, instead of its director. As a result, the movable and immovable property of "Yerevan Loading and Unloading Section" CJSC with a total value of 1 billion 895 million 960 thousand AMD was artificially lowered by 934 million 90 thousand AMD and estimated at 961 million 890 thousand AMD. And already in July 2010 by the decision of the RA Government, through direct sales were alienated for 480 million 935 thousand AMD.
Thus, according to preliminary estimates, as a result of these actions, the material damage to the state amounted to 934 million 90 thousand AMD.
At the same time, at the stage of preparing the materials, the company credited 250 million AMD to the corresponding deposit account as compensation for damage. In connection with this crime a criminal case was initiated in the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes of the General Department of the Criminal Police, it was sent to the RA Investigative Committee.
