Criminal case initiated on the fact of an 80-year-old woman's murder (VIDEO)

At 23:40 on January 22 an alarmed citizen contacted the Operations Management Center of Yerevan city Department of Police of the Republic of Armenia and reported that an aged neghbour of his – Amalya Sargsyan was found dead in her own apartment.
Arriving at 70 Leo street, Yerevan, police operatives found Amalya Sargsyan’s, DOB 1934, body.
External examination of the woman's body revealed several scrapes on her jaw.
As a result of the operational investigation measures taken by officers of Yerevan city Department and the Central police division, the murder suspect – A. Q., DOB 1998, pleaded guilty shorlty after being detained  about 03:30 on January 23.
Forensic medical examination has been assigned.
In connection with the 80-year-old woman’s murder a criminal case has been initiated under the Republic of Armenia Criminal code, article 104, part 1.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
