According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 79 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 22 to August 23, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 25 cases of infliction of bodily harm, 21 cases of fraud and personal theft, 14 cases of drug detection, 9 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic,, 7 cases of attery, 6 cases of misappropriation or embezzlement, 4 cases of theft of state or public property, infliction of deliberate damage to property, hooliganism, illegal felling of trees and abuse of power, 3 cases of kidnapping, 2 cases of robbery, extortion, violence against a representative of authority and arbitrariness, 1 case of burglary, smuggling, seizure of weapons and ammunition, poaching, official forgery or official negligence, illegal crossing of the State border, forgery of documents, violation of the inviolability of the home, obstruction of the investigation and threats to murder.
11 wanted person have been detected, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police, 3 missing persons have been allocated, 4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases of personal theft, 1 case of a running-down accident and burglary have been solved.
Over the past 3 days, 41 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 4 persons died, 57 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
