According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 41 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from December 24 to December 25, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 9 cases of causing bodily harm, 7 cases of personal theft, 4 cases of detecting narcotic drugs, 3 cases of tax evasion and domestic violence, 1 case of kidnapping, squandering or embezzlement, seizure of power, public calls for violation of territorial integrity or violent overthrow of the constitutional order, sexual intercourse with a minor, violation of labor protection rules, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death.
4 wanted persons have been detained, another one turned himself in to the Police.
2 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 13 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 17 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
