According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 59 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from February 22 to February 23, 2 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 18 cases of personal theft, 10 cases of causing bodily harm, 9 cases of fraud, 5 cases of detecting drugs, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of deliberate destruction of property, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, kidnapping, burglary, evasion from payment of taxes, hooliganism, abuse of office, murder, threats of grievous bodily harm or destruction of property, domestic violence, illegal sale of weapons, and willful failure to comply with an urgent intervention or protection decision.
1 missing person has been located, 3 wanted persons have been detained, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police.
4 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 7 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 8 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
