According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 68 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 19 to August 20, 3 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 13 cases of fraud, 11 cases of causing bodily harm, 8 cases of theft of personal property, 5 cases of abuse of official powers, 4 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 3 cases of squandering or embezzlement and illegal cultivation of prohibited plants containing narcotic drugs, 2 cases of burglary, purchase of a child for the purpose of custody of him or sale of a child in order to transfer him to the person who took custody of the child and domestic violence, 1 case of kidnapping, cruelty to animals, arbitrary seizure of lands which are state and municipal property, as well as the failure to take measures to prevent arbitrary construction of buildings and structures and illicit drug trafficking for the purpose of sale.
1 missing person has been located, 6 wanted persons have been detected, another one turned himself in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 3 cases of theft of personal property have been solved.
Over the past 1 day, 10 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 16 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
