According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 63 cases of crime were detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 15 to August 16, 1 of which was an earlier committed crime.
In particular, 12 cases of infliction of bodily harm and personal theft, 11 cases of fraud, 5 cases of drug detection and cultivation of forbidden plants containing narcotic drugs, 2 cases of theft of state or public property, misappropriation or embezzlement and abuse of power, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, kidnapping, burglary, tax evasion, seizure of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, official forgery or official negligence, battery, threats to murder, sudden death and illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without the purpose of sale.
2 wanted persons have been detected, 2 others turned themselves in to the Police, 1 missing person has ben allocated, 5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
Over the past 1 day, 10 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 16 people received bodily injuries of different levels of severity.
