Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (13.01.2017-16.01.2017)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 19 out of 21 cases of infliction of bodily injuries registered in the territory of the Republic from January 13 to January 16, as well as 32 cases of theft, 15 cases of swindling, 1 case of robbery, 1 case of squandering, 1 case of hooliganism and 1 case of illegal felling of trees have been solved.
Meanwhile, 4 cases of seizure of arms and ammunition and 5 cases of detection of narcotics have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of robbery and 2 cases of theft has been detected.
Over the past 3 days 22 road traffic accidents have been registered in the republic: 2 persons died, 38 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
