Crime news report for the period from 1 to 8 January, 2021

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 138 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 1 to January 8, 4 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 40 cases of causing bodily harm, 20 cases of theft of personal property, 19 cases of fraud, 9 cases of domestic violence, 5 cases of deliberate destruction of property, detection of narcotic drugs and hooliganism, 4 cases of kidnapping, burglary and abuse of office, 3 cases of car theft and seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of cybercrime, illegal felling of trees and threats of murder, 1 case of robbery, squandering or embezzlement, violence against a representative of authorities, official forgery or official negligence, lecherous actions, public calls for violence and deliberate failure to comply with an urgent intervention or protection decision.
9 missing persons have been located, 11 wanted persons have been detained, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 2 cases of personal theft an intentional damage to property have been detected.
Over the past 7 days, 111 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 10 persons died, 176 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
