After 14 years on the run man wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies detained in a Yerevan hospital

Thanks to special measures taken by officers from the General Department of criminal Intelligence along with their colleagues from Qanaqer-Zeytun division and “Zvartnots” airport Line division of the RA Police, Armenak G., DOB 1962, was detained in the Yerevan's National Centre of Oncology after Fanarjyan on Thursday, July 30 at 2:30 p.m.
The man had been wanted by law enforcement bodies of Stavropol krai, Russia charged under the Russian Criminal Code, article 159, part 3 /swindling/ since December 13, 2001.
It was established that Armenak G. had flied to Armenia by Mineralnye Vody – Yerevan flight earlier that same day and was taken to the National Centre of Oncology after Fanarjyan by emergency team after feeling worse.
