The aggrieved recognized the uninvited guest as her fellow villager

13.12.2012 12:52 Theft

On December 12, at 20:30, a 46-year-old woman, a resident of Sasunik village, turned to Ashtarak police division and reported that on the same day, at 19:00, coming back home, she found her bedroom window broken, the house turned upside down, and the computer wasn't in its usual place. At that moment somebody attacked her unexpectedly and seizing her by the neck, tried to strangle, but being afraid of the calls for help, the stranger put to flight. During the flight the woman recognized him as her fellow villager Arman F., born in 1995, who dropped his cell phone out of his pocket during the flight.
As a result of the incident the woman got bodily injuries, and the amount of the material damage is being found out.
Due to the undertaken operational-search measures, Arman F. was detained and conveyed to police division on the same day.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
