Driver detected after committing a fatal hit-and-run accident in Vagharshapat
As previously reported about 23:20 on November 22 driver of an unidentified automobile fled the scene after knocking down Avetiq Babayan, DOB 1987, in front of high school number 2 located on Mashtots street, Vagharshapat. The injuried young man deceased on the way tо hospital.
As a result of operational investigation measures, the driver was soon identified – Yeghishe P., DOB 1972.
Thanks to the explanatory work carried out by police officers, Yeghishe P. came to police station voluntarily and surrendered himself to Police.
Yeghishe P. is arrested.
Investigation is underway.
