Vagharshapat policemen detain two Iranian fugitive brothers wanted in Iran and Armenia (VIDEO)

As a result of the heterogeneous activities carried out by the criminal investigation staff of Vagharshapat divsion of the RA Police, Vagharshapat divison received reports that the two Iranian brothers, wanted by the law-enforcement agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia, inhabit in Echmiadzin.
On July 29, during the implementation of operational data, two men (35 and 51 years old) were detained on the central square of the city of Echmiadzin, and taken to Vagarshapat division of the RA Police.
The younger brother had been wanted by Iranian law enforcement officers on charges of having committed a crime of a corruption nature, preventive custody measure has been applied to him, he was taken to the place of detention.
The elder brother hd been wanted by the law enforcement officers of Armenia for fraud on a particularly large scale, misappropriation or embezzlement on a particularly large scale and intentional damage or destruction of property.Preventive custody measure has been applied to him and he was taken to the penitentiary institution "Armavir".
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
