New particulars of the fact of getting a bribe
As we have already reported, a 35-year-old Masis town resident, who applied to the General Department on combating organized crime of the RA police, informed that she was registered in the list of benefit recipients under the program «Paros» and the main specialist at Masis territorial social service agency of Ararat provincial administration apparatus Arman Baghdasaryan demanded 35.000 AMD from her, i.e. the sum of the benefit, paid monthly, in order not to deprive her of the benefit. In the course of the undertaken measures, Arman Baghdasaryan was detained charged with bribery and brought to the GD on COC, after as a bribe he took 35.000 AMD from the citizen in his office on the 3-rd floor of Masis municipality, Ararat province.
On the same day another Masis town resident reported, that in order not to be excluded from Ararat provincial social services list and to receive a benefit under the program “Paros” in 2011-2012, had gaviven a bribe to the tune of 160.000 AMD to the main specialist at Masis territorial social service agency of Ararat provincial administration apparatus Arman Baghdasaryan personally or conveyed through the «Haypost» CJSC Masis division postwoman Anahit A.
The prepared materials were sent to the General investigation department of the RA police.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
