At the session of the Interdepartmental commission

On January 29 the session of the Interdepartmental commission which coordinates the implementation works of the state programmatic measures on crime prevention in the Republic of Armenia took place. The session was presided over by the president of the committee, Police chief of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan.
The state program on crime prevention was designed for 2008-2012 years and was implemented in 5 rounds. During the session the report on the final round, 2012, was presented. It was also mentioned that despite of lack of adequate financing, the measures stipulated in the program were implemented by 94.7 % for the past year.
During the session the causes and conditions of not implementing 2 out of 84 planned measures were discussed.
Summing up the works of the committee, Vladimir Gasparyan touched upon the works on the implementation of the state program on crime prevention and outlined the forthcoming action plan.
