2 wanted deserters detained after being on the run for 9 and 15 years respectively

On Thursday, June 18 at 2:30 a.m. Karen M., DOB 1976, was taken to Bagratashen police subdivision. The man had been wanted by Military Police of the the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 362, part 1 /desertion/ since January 1, 2006.

On Wednesday, June 17 at 4:20 p.m. Mkhitar Ye., DOB 1979, a Moscow-Yerevan flight passenger, turned fimself in at "Zvartnots" airport Line division following operational intelligence measures taken by police officers. The man had been wanted by Military Police of the Armenian Ministry of Defense charged under the RA Criminal Code, article 362, part 1 /desertion/ since March 26, 2000.
