Police Chief receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Armenia and Head of the Consular Office of the Romanian Embassy in Armenia

On Monday March 10 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Armenia Sorin Vasile and Head of the Consular Office of the Romanian Embassy in Armenia Dragos Zamfirescu.
Welcoming the guests, Vladimir Gasparyan expressed his satisfaction with Romanian-Armenian cooperation in the field of law enforcement. Touching upon the current police reforms the Police Chief highlighted that the modernization process of Armenian police system includes expansion of international cooperation. In this context Vladimir Gasparyan outlined a number of ways to stregthen  Romanian and Armenian ties.
Thanking for the reception, the Ambassador of Romania presented a number of cooperation programs and assured that during his tenure he would do his utmost to further develop and strengthen the friendly relations between Romania and Armenia.
During the meeting the parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
