The regular working conference of the Operative headquarters, established within the central apparatus of the police of the RA with the purpose of maintaining appropriate public order and ensuring normal course of the forthcoming presidential elections, took place on February 7. The conference was conducted by the 1st Deputy Chief of the Police, Head of the Operative Headquarters, Police Major General Hunan Poghosyan.
During the conference the responsible persons of the working groups of the Operative Headquarters represented the works carried out in the period after the previous meeting, stating that all the given assignments and directives are carried out.
Particularly, the process of teaching Election activities guide of the police is completed, and the results of the practical lessons which took place according to the schedule are summed up by means of tests, the drawbacks and oversights revealed during this period are eliminated.
Hunan Poghosyan noted that during this period meetings with international representatives of observation mission took place, issues of mutual interest were discussed, and exhaustive answers were given to the observers' questions.
The head of the Operative Headquarters also stated that the works on clarifying voters' lists are underway and as well as represented the statistics of the alerts and mass-media publications which became a topic of discussion during the given period.
By the end of the conference specific assignments and directives were given.
