Elderly woman dies in hospital after being hit by a “VAZ-2104” driver
On Saturday, September 12 at 7:40 p.m. Anahit Sargsyan, DOB 1948, was taken to hospital with bodily injuries after being hit by “VAZ-2104” driver in the town of Abovyan. The woman died in hospital at 8:25 p.m. that same day.
After the accident Stepan B., DOB 1977, turned himself in at Kotayk police division at 8:10 p.m. that day.
Thanks to the special measures taken by police officers, Tigran S., DOB 1986, was identified as the “VAZ-2104” driver who had committed the abovementioned RTA and was detained at 10:15 p.m.
Investyigation is underway.
