New vistas for cooperation

On Wednesday December 17, 2014 First Deputy Head of the RA Police, Lieutenant General Hunan Poghosyan received Mr. Spyridon Flogaitis, President of the Board of Directors of the European Public Law Organization, who had arrived in Armenia to be present at the official inauguration of the new branch of the EPLO in Yerevan.
During the meeting Hunan Poghosyan presented information about the ongoing police reforms, highlighting that the modernization of police system also envisages the expansion of cooperation and imrpovement of its effectiveness.
Mr. Poghosyan  assured of the readiness of the Armenian Police to maintain a relationship of friendship and cooperation with the newly inaugurated Yerevan branch of the European Public Law Organization.
Mr. Spyridon Flogaitis expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended to him and noted that the inauguration of the new branch of the European Public Law Organization in Yerevan will provide young lawyers from Armenia with numerous opporunities for training at the leading European universities and participating in the world’s leading conferences. The office will also enable young scientists of Armenia to publish their researches in high-quality international scientific journals.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
