POLICE CHIEF HOLDS WORKING MEETINGS IN TAVUSH MARZ (VIDEO AND PHOTOS)

On February 26 Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan made a visit to Tavush marz, where he met with senior officers of Tavush marz Department of the RA Police and representatives of Tavush marz administration.
During the meeting convoked at Tavush marz Department Vladimir Gasparyan noted that there have really been certain positive shifts in the performance of the Department and its territorial subdivisions, but yet the results are far from satisfactory. In his speech the Police Chief mentioned that in this regard it is planned to develop and deepen the interaction between the Police Central Apparatus and Marz Departments so that we could have a Police system which is quite predictable for a law-abiding citizen and, vice versa, quite unpredictable for an offender.
The Police Chief drew the attention of the conference participants to the main problems police officers deal with while carrying out works with juveniles and stated that new inspector general positions will be created at 5 high schools in Tavush marz. Vladimir Gasparyan reminded about the peculiarities of Traffic police activities in rural communities and the minutest details of works carried out with villagers. Besides, Vladimir Gasparyan highlighted that  villagers in their turn are expected to abide the laws and to display mutual understanding, while community heads are obliged to realize the incontestability of the fact that we are all equal before the law and those who think or act otherwise shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
After the working conference Vladimir Gasparyan met with local community heads at Tavush marzpetaran. During the meeting the Police Chief touched upon the main problems of effective cooperation between the local self-government bodies and police structures.
By the end of the meeting Vladimir Gasparyan answered all the  questions asked by the meeting participants.
