According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 55 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 26 to January 27, 3 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 18 cases of personal theft, 9 cases of fraud, 5 cases of burglary, 4 cases of bribery, 3 cases of causing bodily harm and robbery, 2 cases of kidnapping, 1 case of intentional damage to property, cybercrime, hooliganism, battery, sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16, acquisition of property, knowingly obtained by crime, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death, and theft of documents.
5 wanted persons have been detained, another one turned himself in to the Police.
6 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 3 cases of personal theft have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 14 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 2 persons died, 21 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
