According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 114 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 16 to August 17, 8 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 25 cases of fraud, 22 cases of personal theft, 11 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 10 cases of smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances (or) their precursors, 7 cases of bodily harm, 5 cases of domestic violence and carrying cold weapons, 3 cases of illegal felling of trees and abuse of office, 2 cases of robbery, misappropriation or embezzlement and seizure of weapons and ammunition, 1 case of murder, burglary, car theft, deliberate destruction of property, tax evasion, cybercrime, drug detection, bribery, official forgery or official negligence.
8 wanted persons have been detained, 15 others turned themselves in to the Police.
1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 4 cases of personal theft, 2 cases of causing bodily harm, 1 case of murder and burglary have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 6 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 8 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
