Crime news report for the period from 13 to 16 August

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 276 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from August 13 to August 16, 9 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 86 cases of fraud, 72 cases of personal theft, 21 cases of causing bodily harm, 18 cases of illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances, the circulation of which is prohibited, 14 cases of drug detection, 12 cases of squandering or embezzlement, 7 cases of abuse of office and domestic violence, 5 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition and illegal felling of trees, 2 cases of kidnapping, tax evasion, hooliganism, violence against a representative of authorities, exploitation of people and detection of cold weapons, 1 case of burglary, deliberate damage to property, theft of a document, use of forged documents, improper performance of the duties of safekeeping of weapons, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices or failure thereof and failure to take, in accordance with the procedure established by law, measures to suppress, prevent unauthorized seizure of land plots that are state or communal property, as well as unauthorized construction of buildings and structures.
2 missing persons died, 7 wanted persons have been detained, 9 others turned themselves in to the Police.
3 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes 6 cases of personal theft and 3 cases of burglary have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 45 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 6 persons died, 69 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
