According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 70 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from February 16 to February 17, 14 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 20 cases of personal theft, 8 cases of fraud, 5 cases of causing bodily harm and detection of narcotic drugs, 2 cases of abduction, squandering or embezzlement, illegal felling of trees and domestic violence, 1 case of theft of state or public property, burglary, intentional property damage and threats of murder, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, abuse of office, battery, adoption of an obviously unjust court sentence, verdict or other court act, maintaining dens of prostitution or pimping and death threats.
2 missing persons have been located, 1 wanted person has been detained, 3 others turned themselves in to the Police.
5 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 6 cases of personal theft, 3 cases of causing bodily injuries, 1 case of theft of state or public property, fraud, vandalism, running-down accident and hooliganism have been detected.
Over the past 1 day, 6 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 1 person died, 6 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
