Crime news report for the period from 8 to 11 January, 2021

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 105 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 8 to January 11, 11 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 30 cases of theft of personal property, 15 cases of causing bodily harm, 11 cases of fraud, 5 cases of domestic violence, 4 cases of hooliganism, detection of drugs and illegal felling of trees, 3 cases of burglary, 2 cases of squandering or embezzlement, abuse of office and battery, 1 case of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery, theft of state or public property, deliberate destruction of property, seizure of weapons and ammunition, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death, arbitrariness, public calls for violence, public justification of public calls for violence, violence or propaganda of violence, illegal storage of explosives.
16 wanted persons have been detained, 6 others turned themselves in to the Police.
1 case of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition has been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 9 cases of personal theft and 1 case of intentional damage to property and burglary have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 21 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 3 persons died, 32 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
