Crime news report for the period from 29 January to February 1

According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 149 cases of crime have been detected by officers of various police subdivisions in the territory of the republic from January 29 to February 1, 18 of which were earlier committed crimes.
In particular, 36 cases of theft of personal property, 22 cases of causing bodily harm, 19 cases of fraud, 9 cases of detecting drugs, burglary and domestic violence, 5 cases of illegal tree felling, 3 cases of seizure of weapons and ammunition, 2 cases of kidnapping, human exploitation and battery, 1 case of rape or attempted rape, banditry, robbery, hooliganism, abuse of office, official forgery or official negligence, threats of murder, false denunciation, sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16, destruction or damage to historical and cultural monuments, failure to implement or improper implementation of professional duties by medical and support personnel, which caused through negligence the patient’s death, and drug smuggling.
2 missing persons have been located, 8 wanted persons have been detained, 4 others turned themselves in to the Police.
8 cases of voluntary surrender of arms and ammunition have been registered.
From earlier committed crimes, 16 cases of personal theft, 1 case robbery and intentional destruction of property have been detected.
Over the past 3 days, 29 accidents have been registered in the Republic: 5 persons died, 63 people received bodily injuries of different levels of gravity.
