Criminal situation in the Republic of Armenia (27.08.2014-28.08.2014)
According to the operations reports of Police of the Republic of Armenia, 10 out of 13 cases of infliction of bodily damage, registered in the territory of the republic from August 27 to August 28, as well as 6 cases of swindling, 1 case of squandering, 2 cases of smuggling, 1 case of hooliganism and 7 cases of theft were solved during the same period of time.
From earlier committed crimes 2 cases of theft were solved.
Over the past 1 day 11 road traffic accidents were registered in the republic: 4 persons died, 11 people got bodily injuries of varying levels of gravity. –
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia and found guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force.
