On Thursday September 25, 2014, Armenian Police Chief, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan received the Kuwaiti delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kuwait to Armenia Bassam Mohammed Al-Qabandi.
Welcoming the guests, Vladimir Gasparyan expressed hope that the Armenia-Kuwait cooperation framework will also embrace the field of law enforcement. Touching upon the current police reforms the Police Chief highlighted that the modernization process of Armenian Police system includes expansion of international cooperation. In this context Vladimir Gasparyan outlined a number of ways to stregthen  Kuwaiti and Armenian ties. 
Mr. Bassam Mohammed Al-Qabandi expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended to him and assured that during his tenure he would do his utmost to further develop and strengthen the friendly relations between Kuwait and Armenia.
The meeting agenda also included other issues of mutual interest.
