Within the framework of the official visit, the Armenian delegation headed by Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia Valery Osipyan visited the Joint Operations center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The Joint Operations center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has been operating since 2016. It is from here that the cameras installed on the streets of the republic are managed and coordinated.
By the way, those cameras not only record the license plates of the cars committing a violation, but also identify the driver who appears in the camera, showing his personal details.
It is planned to increase the number of csuch ameras up to 4000 in a year, which will raise the effeciency of traffic control, maintenance of public order and boost the fight against crime.
On the same day, the RA Police delegation also visited Rustavi's Center of the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The leadership of the Agency introduced the functions of the subdivision.
The members of the Armenian delegation got acquainted with the technical equipment of the Service Agency, the processes of registration of vehicles and issue of license plates.
It is noteworthy that driving licenses are also issued at such centers of the Service Agency. The stages and process of their issuance was also introduced to the Armenian delegation.
Currently, there are 11 such centers in the Republic of Georgia, which facilitates the process of providing public services, increases the efficiency of law enforcing, excludes unnecessary delays and loss of time.
