Man wanted for murder since 1994 transported to Armenia by Athene – Moscow – Yerevan flight (VIDEO)


In 1994 Edik V., DOB 1942, was declared wanted by Tumanyan police division charged for murder. Later in 1999 Edik V. was declared internationally wanted through Interpol. Using the information about Edik V.’s whereabouts received so far, the Interpol NCB in Armenia took all the necessary measures aimed at Edik V’s detection.
Finally, as a result of cooperation with Interpol NCB in Greece, Edik V. was arrested in Thessalonike, Greece, on July 2, 2013. Upon the completion of the extradition procedure on January 31, 2014 the murder suspect was transported to Armenia by Athene – Moscow – Yerevan flight under the guard of officers of the General Department of Criminal Intelligence of Police of the Republic of Armenia and Interpol NCB in Armenia.
